Shakespeare's--One of the Things I'll Miss About CoMO

Shakespeares is one of the first places we went to eat in CoMO and has been one of our long-standing favorites. The pictures in this post are all from the downtown location. The West Shakespeares is also good, but it's farther away, so we very rarely go to that location.

One of the aspects of Shakespeares that we love is that they're so kid friendly. It has a fairly noisy environment, so there's not much worry about squeally, chatty little ones. They also throw dough for the kiddos to play with at the table. It's a chunk of pizza dough that doubles as play dough to keep the little ones occupied--brilliant.
On this occasion, we went with a friend from work and her kids. We enjoy their company often, and they are another aspect of this area that we will miss!
This is a large pizza (1/2 beef & bacon, 1/2 beef & black olive). Shakespeares heaps toppings on their pizzas. Even plain cheese is loaded. They're not cheap, but you get a lot for your dollar.
Eli will even fight his daddy with a fork to get the last piece of pizza. :)
Lingering thought of the day: As we were leaving , I was stopped by a group of college students who needed to interview people (on camera--yikes) about Shakespeare's for a school project. After some coercion and guilting from my hubby, I obliged. Truth be told, I rather enjoyed the interview. They were very sweet and encouraging. All I had to do was answer questions from a "mommy's perspective." I found it interesting that they sought me out on the very day I was doing my own "documentation" of this place.
